At present, most of the powders processed by powder production equipment are mixed powders with relatively dispersed particle sizes. But in the practical applications, only the powder of a certain granularity interval or a certain granularity segment can satisfy the user's demand. The classifier is a device sorting Venus super powders from mixed powders according to a certain granularity interval. It can be combined with the general crushing equipment (such as ball mill, Raymond mill, jet mill and impact mill) to separate the required fine powder and remove excessively coarse/fine particles of the powders in time, effectively solving the entrainment phenomenon to achieve the purpose to control the size distribution of particle.
After the materials are put into classification by the feeder, the classified materials first pass the pre-selection section, making the particles dispersed completely. The coarse and fine powders are separated under the force of graded vortex. Fine powders meeting the requirements of particle size enter the trapping system of fine powder through the stepped gear. Coarse powders and agglomerated fine powders fall to the secondary air inlet, and the centrifugal updraft in vortex generated by the cascade strongly flushes the materials. The coarse and fine powders are separated again. The fine powders enter into the stepped section along with the updraft, and the coarse powders drop to the primary air inlet, receiving the strong flushing of airflow in the primary air inlet, and making the pure coarse powders discharged out of the machine. The horizontal stepped gear has accurate vertex cutting size, which can ensure that the fine powder does not contain large particles. This classifier has very high classification accuracy, efficiency and fineness.
